Here are the Indian recipes that I liked. Some of them seem more complicated than they are. It is best to start with an easy one to build your confidence. A lot of patience is an essential in all Indian cooking. There's no one or two minute recipe. Rice, especially basmati, are considered better as aged (just like wine). The older the rice, more soaking time is required prior to cooking. This kind old rice is used to make 'pulave' or 'biriyani'. Basmati rice, especially, aged, are not for 'sticky rice' preparations. Just to give a measure, you may have to soak the rice for 30 minutes before cooking. But then results are good, too. Please let me know about this collection of recipes.

Note: This dish is rather soupy. You can dredge the fish in seasoned flour before putting it in the wok. I never bother to do this, but it might be less soupy if you did. Also, this recipe makes enough sauce for 1.5 lbs. of fish.
